Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome children of all ages. Please do count them (including babies) into your final party size.

If you require space for a pushchair, please specify this at the time of booking.

All of our menus are available on our website but should you have any specific requirements related to an allergy or intolerance, please specify at the time of your booking and our team will assist you with the menu on the day.

We do not allow any party decorations in the restaurant such as balloons, banners, confetti and glitter. Should you wish to have a celebration cake, please call us at least 48 hours prior to your reservation and we would be delighted to assist.

At Talking Drum a high standard of cleanliness has always been a priority, however the global outbreak of COVID-19 has required us to raise our standards to an even greater level to guarantee the wellbeing of our guests, employees and wider community.

Here you will find an outline of the key protocols and measures we have put in place that ensure a secure and sterile environment at all times.

We are of course monitoring government policy guidelines closely and will continue to make changes as necessary to our procedures.

We are committed to keeping our Talking Drum family safe, so trust you are in good hands. 

To ensure all members of staff and customers remain safe we are committed to the following:

Taking everyone’s temperature on arrival, and ensuring everyone sanitises their hands on entry.

More frequent sanitising of all surfaces and toilets 

Ask that everyone wears a mask upon entrance to the restaurant and only to remove when seated. 

We kindly ask that customers remain seated for the duration of their meal.

When using the toilet we ask that you wear a mask when walking around the restaurant.

To be more safe and accessible we provide disposable menus.

Payment will only be taken at the table to avoid congestion at the entrance.

We are a child friendly restaurant, but we ask that children remain seated at all times.

Parking spaces around the restaurant are typically limited. Guests are encouraged to utilise public transport or a taxi service. Alternatively, please make allowances for time to look for parking before your reservation as tables will only be held for 15 minutes after the reservation time.

Talking Drum has wheelchair access.
